Mechanical Energy
Energy appears in many forms, and one of them is Mechanical Energy. The usual definition of energy says that it is the capacity to do work.

Work = force x distance
For work to happen, a force must act on the object and the object must move a distance in the direction of the force.

Mechanical Advantage = Load / Effort Force

Power = Work / Time
Power is the measure of the amount of work a machine can do in one second. Power can be measured in Joules per second, which are called watts. (w)
