Efficiency, Force, and Work
Efficiency: A calculation of the work done by a machine (the work output) as a percentage of the work needed to operate it (the work input). The equation is: efficiency = (work output*100%)/(work input).
Force: A push or a pull.
Work: A measure of the transfer of energy to an object. Work, measured in joules, is equal to force, measured in newtons, times distance, measured in metres. (Work[J] = Force[N] x Distance[M])
