Types of Galaxies

Galaxies are huge collections of gas, dust, and hundreds of millions of stars. The stars are attracted to each other with gravity and are always in motion. There are different types of galaxies, such as Spiral Galaxies, Elliptical Galaxies and Irregular Galaxies. Our galaxy, the Milky Way, is a spiral-shaped galaxy.
